Las características sonoras de las cabezas de madera, no solo dependen del material en que están construidas, sino también, de muchas variables físicas, como ser: altura del plato, medidas y forma de la embocadura y del tubo interno, espesor del tubo, entre otras.
La variedad de combinaciones en maderas y embocaduras, ofrece a cada flautista una amplia gama de colores y posibilidades dinámicas.
Las embocaduras
Proponemos diferentes tipos de embocaduras: cuadrada, oval y modelo Hernández.
La embocadura oval da un sonido más redondo; el cuadrado, un sonido abierto y más poderoso; y el diseño "Hernández", es cuadrado delante y donde los labios descansan, oval. Este tipo de embocadura puede ser abierta y poderosa, pero puedes sentir el control que obtienes con la embocadura oval en la ejecución.
Las alturas de plato
Alto, medio y bajo.
Con el plato alto obtienes sonidos "más grandes" y más profundos en el registro bajo; con el plato bajo, la facilidad se logra en los registros medio y alto. El plato medio es precisamente el equilibrio entre los dos.
La afinación
Todas las cabezas consiguen una afinación la=442, por otras afinaciones consultar.

A wooden headjoint’s sound not only depends on the material it´s made of, but also on many other physical variables such as: the lip plate height, the embouchure’s dimensions and shape, the headjoint’s inner dimensions and the tube´s thickness, etc.
The variety of combinations of wood and embouchures available gives each flutist a wide range of colors and sonic dynamics to choose from.
Embochures:
We offer and suggest different types of embochures: square, oval or Hernández model.
The oval embouchure gives a rounder sound; the square, an open and more powerful sound; and the “Hernandez”, is square in front and where the lips rest, oval. This type of embouchure can be open and powerful, but you can feel the control you get with the oval embouchure when playing.
Height lip plate:
High, medium and low.
With the high lip plate you get rich tone colours with strong fundamental in the low register; with the low lip plate, the easiness is reached in the middle and high registers. The medium lip plate: it is precisely the balance between the two.
Tuning:
All of our head joints are tuned to 442 Hz. Consult us about other tunings.
